Kindermusik
is a music and movement program that is developmentally appropriate
for children ages newborn through 7. Early childhood development
research shows that active participation in a music program greatly
stimulates a child’s brain development in all areas. In
Kindermusik children learn musical concepts through
singing, playing, movement and dance, stories and so much more.
Your child will develop life skills such as:

How to sing and speak clearly (language and literacy), as well
as listen with quiet focused attention
•
How to participate in group activities and use appropriate body
movement to express feelings (problem solving and social skills)
•
How to sing and play various percussion instruments (musicality)
These
skills are important for good musicianship, but more significantly,
they are important skills for living and learning, as well as
contributing to a positive self-esteem. Kindermusik
philosophy states that the best teacher for your child is you
the parent. Your participation in the class is vital to your child’s
positive learning experience.
The
purpose of Kindermusik is to encourage early
learning and creativity in children through music. The focus is
on the process, not the performance and the goal is a creative,
